Meet the Team
Walt Teter
Since founding Featherwood in 2003, Walt Teter has focused on Energy consulting and advisory services and the development of energy related projects with a specific focus on LNG and green energy. He is also experienced in investor/client value creation through identification of undervalued assets, assisting in the management of permitting, and navigating the commercial structuring of large scale opportunities. Walt has negotiated multiple upstream-related agreements on behalf of clients and investors that principally target LNG Purchase and Sale Agreements, Terminal Use Agreements, and the Corporate Structure Agreements required for the execution of complex LNG chain activities.
Jeff Oetting
Jeff Oetting is the managing and founding partner of Featherwood Energy consulting and advisory services. Jeff leads project development and has led the political and legal aspects of the project development team. Jeff has extensive financial and energy market experience related to the North American natural gas and electricity generation markets and structures long term cross commodity contracts. He has 30 years of experience participating in financial and energy related transactions. Jeff is also a managing partner of Featherwood’s commercial real estate branch.
Gregg Oetting
Gregg Oetting brings over 20 years of energy trading and electric power project development experience to Featherwood. In his trading and project development roles Gregg has gained a wealth of North American power and natural gas market knowledge. As part of power project development teams he understands both the physical infrastructure and commercial challenges facing projects. Gregg has applied much of this experience to his role as commercial negotiation advisor for LNG contracts and as part of Featherwood's project development advisory team where issues surrounding gas markets and infrastructure arise.
Brandon Farine
Brandon Farine has been with Featherwood since 2014, and now holds the title of managing partner of the commercial real estate branch. In that time, he has assisted hundreds of Houston area tenants to negotiate better deals on their leases, expansions, and relocations. Conversely, he has helped building owners reach capacity. Brandon is passionate about brokering the best deal possible for his clients. He also has experience within the energy side of Featherwood in project development and analysis of supply and marketing strategies for multiple energy projects.
