The range of technology, from run of river hydro, to batteries, LNG and energy consumption innovation covers a broad swath of the current and transitional energy markets. Featherwood has negotiated both sides of Purchase and Sale agreements, vessel Time Charters, and Terminal Use Agreements and a myriad of complex energy focused structures. Clean Gas & Renewables
Featherwood Principals negotiated approximately 70% of the new LNG supply to the North American market in the first decade of the 21st century. The Principals have developed both upstream and downstream projects and have a comprehensive knowledge of the issues that impact commercial negotiations throughout the value chain. Throughout its nearly two decades in the energy busines space, Featherwood has conducted extensive market analyses of virtually all major North American LNG, natural gas and electricity markets as well as major and emerging international natural gas markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and South/Central America. The scope of development activities includes not only import and export facilities, but also the surrounding indigenous markets, supply and demand points and the associated transportation, storage and distribution infrastructure.

EXPERT WITNESS
Featherwood has provided expert witness services for litigation, arbitration, and due diligence evaluations. Cases include domestic and international commercial disputes involving LNG, natural gas infrastructure, and power/natural gas markets. Featherwood has provided detailed commercial and forensic financial analysis to support all phases of litigation from contractual conflict to damage quantification. Featherwood has deconstructed transactions using operational records and financial data to prove the applicability of commercial transactions previously denied by opposing litigants. Featherwood Principal’s experience in trading and brokering markets provides them with the knowledge to dig beneath the surface and follow the transactional evidence trail.
